A planner is one of the most important parts of your day! They coordinate your rental orders, timelines, assist with floor plans, ,vendors, and everything in between. Because of the infinite amount of details they need to keep track of, we require that you use a planner on our list who has worked at our venue before. This is to best serve you and ensure you have a very seamless planning process and wedding day! We have a full list of planners suited to help bring your vision to life, and we highly recommend Harmony Weddings for multi-day affairs.
We have partnered with full-service caterers who are familiar with The Maxwell’s space, requirements, and elevated standards, ensuring a seamless experience for your celebration. This includes trusted Indian caterers like Zayka and Urban Angeethi, as well as our preferred caterers who can provide authentic Indian menus or inspired fusion menus blending traditional flavors with modern touches. We are confident you will be in excellent hands with any of these companies. In the best interest of our clients and the venue, we are unable to make exceptions to this policy.
The Maxwell is most comfortable at 225 guests, especially when incorporating staging, a mandap, rain plans, or more elaborate décor. This count allows for smooth flow and ample breathing room for each part of your celebration. We can accommodate up to 275 guests indoors depending on layout, and guest counts can increase further when tented on the lawn, giving you additional flexibility for larger South Asian or multi-day weddings. Our team works closely with your planner and décor vendors to determine the ideal layout that supports your traditions, design needs, and overall guest experience.
